Carlowrie Castle Wedding Photography – Laura and Matthew

Carlowrie Castle Wedding Photography

Carlowrie Castle Wedding Photography is always a pleasure to shoot and Laura and Matthew’s wedding was no exception. Built in 1852, Carlowrie is a traditional castle that has undergone an impressive renovation mixing traditional with contemporary with stunning effect. I always enjoy it when my clients add personal touches to their weddings and Laura and Matthew decorated the castle with light up letters, fun Mr and Mrs Memorabilia, candy trees and candles. The effect was simply magical.

After a small and intimate ceremony with immediate family and friends I did some family and group shots before taking some portrait shots of Laura and Matthew before guests arrived for the reception. The meal and reception was held in the Orangery. The beautiful orangery is my favourite feature when shooting Carlowrie Wedding Photography as it has the most magnificent views and the glass structure offered me so much natural light to take great shots of Laura, Matthew and their guests. The scheme of coral and navy looked amazing. Everybody enjoyed the speeches and the dinner provided by En Croute Catering.

Evening entertainment was in the form of band Soul Inferno who packed the dance floor in no time! Before I left I took Laura and Matthew outside for a quick portrait shot as Carlowrie looks amazing lit up at night. It was a good call as the image of Laura and Matthew kissing outside a beautiful lit Carlowrie Castle was the perfect shot to close the story of their wedding day.

A happy couple, a gorgeous venue, a great wedding. Congratulations to Laura and Matthew for getting married and creating such a memorable day. I hope my images will help you to relive it again and again for many years to come.
