Glasgow University Wedding Photography – Michael and Claire
Glasgow University Wedding Photography - I first met Claire and Michael at Dave and Jenny's wedding at Boturich Castle where Claire was Jenny's bridesmaid. This time the tables were turned with Jenny as one of the bridesmaids.
We spend the morning at Claire's flat were her 2 cats were completely unimpressed about the intrusion before heading over to Glasgow University for the celebrations. Claire and Michael got married in autumn at the spectacular Glasgow University, which is a stunning venue in the heart of the City. They had their ceremony at the same venue as the reception, which was great, because having everything in one venue meant more time for mingling. The chapel is just stunning and then we went for a very quick walk round the grounds for some photos. A slightly breezy and damp day so lots of finding shelter (which is easy in the University Cloisters). The university buildings are beautiful with lots of stunning stonework to use as backdrops. The autumn colours really added to the photos. Very sensibly Claire had a warm faux fur jacket to keep her warm in the breezy weather.
After that we heading inside for the drinks reception. Everyone was having great fun.
The wedding meal was held in One A The Square, downstairs from the university chapel. Followed by some very "enthusiastic dancing later in the evening!"
The university buildings looked stunning lit up at night as I left.
