In all my time of photographing weddings I have NEVER shot in conditions like we had for Alex and Jenny’s wedding at Luss church and Boturich Castle.  Many couples would have been annoyed or upset at the weather but not these two.  They just enjoyed what was a fabulous day.

I arrived at Jenny’s house for the bridal preps.  I am away delighted to see a conservatory because it produces such good light and most of the preps were done in here.  Then it was done to Luss church were the ushers were doing a sterling job of relay duty with the umbrellas, getting guest into the church.  Jenny had warned me that the minister may remind me of someone and I have to admit that I did a bit of a double take when I saw him.  Can you guess who…???

After the ceremony we didn’t hang around the church for obvious reasons and it was off to Boturich Castle on the hillside above Loch Lomond.  Rory and Laura were very welcoming and ushered us up into the drawing room so we could do some family photos.  I think the whisky was appreciated by some and less so by others!

Photos done it was over to the marquee to see the rest of the guests and speeches and dancing.  I had a great time guys and hope you enjoyed the honeymoon.
