Janine and Alex’s Skye elopement featured a first for me. A wedding on a sailing yacht! Now having shot weddings though Scotland for a while I know that you can plan so much of the day but the one thing you can’t rely on is the weather.

I arrived at Duisdale House to meet Alex and Janine to do some absolutely stunning weather. You really cannot beat Scotland when the sun shine (although its till pretty stunning when it doesn’t!) Once they were both ready we made our way down to the slipway to board the Solus Na Mara for the ceremony in the Sound of Sleat. What a backdrop, blue skies all round…..

After they were married we headed round a few locations around Skye before they headed back to Duisdale house for their first dinner together as husband and wife.
