Its always great when you get to photograph a wedding at a new venue and when Doug and Louise told me they were getting married at the stunning Glentanar estate I was so excited.

The ceremony was held in the beautiful chapel of St Lesmo. Afterwards, as we went to take photographs by the loch, many of the guest chose to walk across the meadow to the ballroom. I was spoilt for choice with locations in the grounds but made sure Doug and Louise were back to enjoy some canapes with their guest. Doug wouldn’t have forgiven me if he missed out!

After the drinks on the lawn everyone moved inside the ballroom for speeches, dinner and dancing. The amazing ceiling of the ballroom is decorated with over 600 antlers and maked a fabulous backdrop for the ceilidh later that night.
