Balbirnie Hotel Wedding Photography – Chris and Megan had their winter wedding at the gorgeous Balbirnie Hotel, which is a stunning country house in Fife. They had their ceremony at St Margaret’s Roman Catholic Church in Dunfermline which was a short drive across Fife.

Bridal prep

Megan got ready at Balbirnie with her bridesmaids, and the atmosphere was full of excitement with Natalie Ryan and Laura Anderson helping the girls with the hair and make up. I then headed off to the church to meet the Chris boys for a few portraits and capture the guests arriving.

The ceremony

The wedding was across Fife at St Margaret’s Roman Catholic Church in Dunfermline. It was so lovely to see see Alison (Chris’s sister) and her husband John who’s wedding a shot a few years back. Their children were Chris and Megan’s flower-girl and pageboy. The interior of St Margaret’s is lit with some stunning lighting and made a wonderful backdrop for the ceremony.

The reception

It was then back across Fife to Balbirnie for the ceremony. Whatever the time of year the grounds of Balbirnie has an abundance of locations for portraits and despite the cold we wandered round capturing some lovely natural shots, they didnt seem to notice it was the middle of February for their big smiles…..!

Dinner and speeches were down in the main Ballroom which looked spectacular as always. After The Jets packed the dance floor we sneaked off for a last few portraits outside on the steps before I headed off.

Chris and Megan’s wedding was a wonderful fun filled day. Hope you enjoy the images….
