St Andrews Wedding Photography | Paula and Fraser, Fairmont Hotel

The second of 2 St Andrews weddings….. My Photography coverage started at the Fairmont Hotel overlooking St Andrews…….The room was a hive of activity when I went to meet the girls….Then it was down to St Salvator’s to meet Fraser. It was a chance to say goodbye to Jamie the minister who is retiring this year and this was the last wedding that I would be shooting with him conducting the ceremony. After we had done some family groups we jumped into the car to do some portraits around the town before heading back up to The Fairmont for the reception.

This is the first of two St Andrews weddings coming to the blog in the next couple of days. Former students Chris and Ruth are living and working in sunny Australia but came back to get married in Scotland. The forecast in the week running up to the wedding was horrid and I was really worried that they woud be wishing they had stayed down under! Luckily when the morning arrived so did the sun! The wedding car was one of the quirkiest I have had this year…….a citreon 2cv! A lovely ceremony at St Salvatory’s, a tour round town in the 2cv then back to College Halls for some highly entertaining speeches……
